During my time traveling, I have recognized the importance of documenting my travels. Unfortunately, often times my access to Wifi is limited, which hinders my ability to post regularly to my blog. But there is an easy solution to this problem…

The GoPro! As a family gift one Christmas, the GoPro was placed into my hopeful hands and I was ready to hit the ground running. My initial project started with my abroad experience in Australia and New Zealand. From rain forest hikes to diving into the cracks and crevices of the Great Barrier Reef, I had the opportunity to explore documentation in a different form.

I fell in love with the way the GoPro captured images and content with the simple press of a button. The light-weight and simplest model made capturing even the most beautiful of sunsets impossibly easy for a beginner.

With some DIY and online-tutorials, I was able to make it through my first session of GoPro Studio unscathed, and out came my first ever GoPro video! Like magic, it was my very first film documentation on YouTube and I could not have felt more accomplished. I just had to make another!

And sure enough, I carried the GoPro through my travels in Europe, attempting to document even the simplest of events. And now they are publicly viewable on my website and on my YouTube channel! Be sure to check out Marquis in the Prague video.. it is his debut, after all!
